Privacy Policy
Effective July 11, 2026
Emerson Tech ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover information we collect in person during a repair visit, which we'll always explain to you directly.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, a description of your issue, and a phone number and/or email if you choose to provide one. We use this to respond to your request and follow up about service — and, if you're happy with the work, we may occasionally ask you for a review.
Automatic site activity. We use a lightweight, cookie-free analytics script that records which pages were visited and, if you arrived from another website, that site's domain. It does not use cookies, does not track you across visits, and does not build a profile of who you are — each page visit is logged as an anonymous, disconnected event, not linked to your identity or to other visits you've made.
Advertising (Meta/Facebook Pixel). When we're running ad campaigns on Facebook or Instagram, this site loads the Meta Pixel, which is separate from the cookie-free analytics above and works differently: it sets a cookie, can track your activity across this site and other sites that also use Meta's Pixel, and reports back to Meta which pages you visited and whether you submitted our contact form. We use this to measure whether our ads are working and to show ads to people likely to be interested in our services. Meta's own use of this data is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. The Pixel is only active while we're actively advertising — if you don't arrive here from a Facebook/Instagram ad, it still loads on every page (Meta requires this to measure ad performance accurately), but you can opt out entirely using the same method below.
How we use your information
- To respond to service requests and schedule repairs
- To understand which pages and services people find useful, so we can improve the site
- To keep basic business records of who we've worked with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We use the following service providers to run this website and store the information above:
- Vercel — hosts this website and runs the code that processes contact form submissions.
- Supabase — securely stores contact form submissions and anonymous page-visit data in our private database.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — receives page-visit and contact-form-submission signals through the Meta Pixel described above, but only while we're running ad campaigns. See "Advertising (Meta/Facebook Pixel)" above for what this involves.
The fonts on this site are hosted directly by us, not loaded from Google's servers, so no font-related data is sent to Google. These are established providers with their own privacy and security practices. We don't share your information with anyone else except as required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain our business records, or until you ask us to delete it. Anonymous page-visit data isn't tied to your identity, so there's nothing to delete on an individual basis.
Your choices
If you'd like to see, correct, or delete the information you've given us, just reach out using the contact details below — we'll take care of it promptly.
You can also opt out of both the anonymous visit counter and the Meta Pixel entirely: open any page on this site with ?notrack=1 added to the end of the address, and your browser won't send visit or advertising events from then on.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
